Crown Prince Sultan arrives in New York for UN summit

Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz arrived in New York Monday for the 60th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The crown prince is leading the Saudi delegation, which also includes Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal and the Ambassador to the United States Prince Turki Al-Faisal.

In New York, Crown Prince Sultan met with Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Sabah. They reviewed bilateral relations and the latest developments in the Gulf, Arab and international arenas, notably the situation in Iraq and the Palestinian territories. The prince also met with the director-general of the International Labour Organization, Juan Somavia, who highlighted the significant role played by Saudi Arabia in the service of the ILO.
