Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz met with U.S. Undersecretary of State for Public Diplomacy Karen Hughes in Jeddah today. Hughes conveyed the greetings of President George W. Bush and said she hoped her visit would lead to enhanced relations between the two countries.

Yesterday, Hughes and her deputy, Assistant Secretary for Educational and Cultural Affairs Dina Powell, met with Minister of Culture and Information Iyad Madani to discuss cultural cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the U.S.
