Kingdom bans poultry from Turkey and Romania

Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Hashem Yamani announced today that Saudi Arabia has banned the import of poultry and its products from Turkey and Romania as part of preventive measures to keep bird flu out of the country. Dr. Yamani also stated that the ban will continue on poultry from Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Pakistan, China, Thailand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Laos, Malaysia, Russia, Kazakhstan and Mongolia, in line with royal directives.
