Syrian Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Abdullah Al-Dardari today praised Saudi Arabia’s role in brokering an agreement between Syria and the United Nations concerning the questioning of five Syrians about the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Al-Hariri.  In remarks to reporters in London, Al-Dardari said that the Kingdom used its good offices to facilitate a satisfactory agreement with UN chief investigator Detlev Mehlis.
