A Saudi relief plane left for Iran today, loaded with more than 26 tons of equipment and materials for the Saudi field hospital in the quake-stricken southeastern region of Iran.  To date, eight relief planes carrying more than 300 tons of emergency relief supplies and a medical team have been dispatched to Iran.  Earlier this week, the GCC agreed to provide Iran with U.S. $400 million in reconstruction aid for the devastated region.
