Minister of Transport Dr Jubarah Al-Suraiseri has confirmed that the issue of a rail link between Saudi Arabia and other member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will be presented to the GCC Summit scheduled to open in Manama on December 20.

Dr Al-Suraiseri was speaking to reporters after signing contracts with Saudi companies to construct two roads, one from Yanbu to Sharma and the other from Khamis Mushait to Najran. He added that priority would be given in the upcoming State Budget to completing the remaining portion of the Riyadh ring road.
