Dairy farm to sponsor disability awareness

Al-Safi-Danone, the largest integrated dairy farm in the world with a herd of 29,000 cows, launched a social awareness campaign yesterday in coordination with the Prince Salman Center for Disability Research, donating SR 5 million [U.S. $ 1.34 million] to that organization to promote its research programs and to carry out its drive. Chairman of the Center’s Board of Trustees Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz commented that the private initiative would help integrate handicapped children into the mainstream of Saudi society, adding that the Center works to improve the quality of life for handicapped people.
