A three-day international conference on bone-marrow transplantation opened in Jeddah today, organized by the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSHRC) in cooperation with the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, Canada. Under review will be the latest advances in transplantation, diagnosis and treatment.

Tomorrow, Princess Sara bint Abdulmohsin Al-Anqari, wife of Governor of Makkah Province Prince Abdulmajeed bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Makkah region, will open an associated symposium focusing on the psychological and social impact of bone-marrow transplants.
