Saudi-Iranian businessmen to review trade cooperation

Riyadh's Chamber of Commerce and Industry will host today a meeting of Saudi and Iranian businessmen.  The meeting will review aspects of trade cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Iran, and means for boosting commercial exchanges between the two countries.  The focus will be on investments general contracting, freight, export, iron industry, ceramics, paints, plastic industries and petrochemicals as well as training in the management of factories, water-drainage systems, honey production, olives cultivation and export of agricultural products.   On Tuesday, Chamber of Commerce and Industry will host a similar meeting between Saudi and French businessmen. The volume of trade between Saudi Arabia and France amounted to about SR 13.7 billion [U.S. $3.65 billion] in 2003.
