Tourism commission discusses issue of security

Secretary-General of the Supreme Commission for Tourism (SCT) Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz inaugurated in Riyadh today a seminar to discuss the issue of security as it affects the tourist industry. In his keynote address, Prince Sultan bin Salman affirmed that the recent wave of terrorist incidents has not derailed the Kingdom’s development progress. He stressed, however, the importance to the tourist industry of a secure and safe environment. Under discussion was the role of religious organizations as well as that of the Ministry of Health in ensuring this. The seminar was attended by Assistant Interior Minister for Security Affairs Prince Muhammad bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz.
