Saudi technical instructors undergoing training in Japan

Twenty Saudi technical instructors working for the General Organization for Technical Education and Vocational Training (GOTEVOT) left for Japan yesterday to attend a month-long training program organized within the framework of the Youth Friendship Program (YFP) promoted by the governments of the two countries. This is the seventh group of young Saudis to be invited on the YFP program, one of many organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Japan has been working with 16 Saudi government agencies on a range of joint training and research projects. A similar training program for 25 officials from the Saudi Ministry of Education took place in June last year.
