Saudi leaders send congratulations on U.S. Independence Day

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz has sent a cable of congratulations to U.S. President George W. Bush on the anniversary of his country's independence. In his own name and on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Fahd wished the president health and happiness and the friendly U.S. people steady progress and prosperity. He also praised the distinguished relations that bind the two friendly countries and their peoples and their efforts to serve urgent issues in the region and the world for the prosperity of all peoples.

Similar cables were also sent by Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz.
