Asir Governor announces winners of Abha Prize

Governor of Asir Province Prince Khalid Al-Faisal today announced the winners of the four categories of the Abha prize. Fifteen candidates, most of them security officers, shared the prize for service to the nation. In the culture category there were nine winners. There were nine winners of the prize for higher education, and 72 schools collected prizes in the public education category. At the awards ceremony, Prince Khalid urged the Saudi media to make the effort to better cover local events, reported that graduates of Abha’s Prince Sultan College for Tourism and Management Sciences have all received good job offers from private sector companies, and categorically rejected reports that this year's summer tourism campaign lacks religious teachings, pointing out that over 1,600 religious events are planned for Abha.
