Top militant surrenders to Saudi Embassy in Iran

The Ministry of Interior has reported that Saudi militant Khalid bin Odeh bin Mohammed Al-Harbi, also known as Abu Sulaiman Al-Makki, has surrendered to authorities in response to the recent offer of a grace period extended by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz. The militant, who was wanted by security forces, arrived at the Iranian-Afghan border, and contacted the Saudi Embassy in Tehran, expressing his desire to take advantage of the royal offer. The Embassy prepared the necessary documents for him and his family, since he had no identity papers, before transporting them by air to Saudi Arabia in coordination with the concerned Iranian authorities. Khalid Al-Harbi is suffering from a disability, and will be immediately admitted to hospital for medical treatment.
