IDB invites nominations for 1425 Economics Prize

The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) is inviting nominations from individuals, universities, and academic, financial and Islamic institutions worldwide for its award for the Hijrah year 1425 [2004/05] in the field of Islamic Economics. The nominee should have conducted research in this field or rendered services of outstanding merit in implementing Islamic economic programs. The winner will receive a cash award of U.S. $40,000. The deadline for nominations is October 13, 2004. Nominations should be mailed to the Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI) in Jeddah.
