Jeddah, Riyadh air control centers to undergo modernization

Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, today signed a four-year contract to modernize the two air control centers at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh as part of an ongoing program to upgrade air navigation services in the Kingdom and to meet the constant increase in the volume of air traffic in Saudi airspace.  The projects are valued at over SR160 million [U.S. $42.6 million].
