Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz today received Minister of Education Dr. Muhammad Al-Rasheed, Deputy Minister for Girls’ Education Dr. Khider Al-Quraishi, and senior officials of the Ministry of Education, to mark the start of the new academic year 1425-26 H [2004-05]. King Fahd urged them to strive for the best educational level and the best educational systems; referred to the additional funds allocated by the government for education in the upcoming State budget; and advised all those involved in education to adhere to the Islamic faith and help the new generation distance themselves from deviant groups and evildoers.

Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz also received the education officials. He urged them to instill in the minds of students a love for their country, and stressed that the educational process stems from nothing less than the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah.
