Chambers of commerce introduce electronic system

Secretary-General of the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CSCCI) Dr Fahd Al-Sultan has announced the introduction next month of a new electronic authentication and attestation system. The system, which was invented by a Saudi engineer, has been undergoing trial runs in Riyadh, Jeddah and Al-Khobar over the past month. It enables users to electronically compose, sign and receive documents that are attested either by government agencies, or by private organizations. Since the system is carried through the Internet, it is available around the clock, and worldwide.
