Crown Prince confirms Kingdom’s concern for the environment

Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, in a statement published in the 10th anniversary edition of the Arab Life of Nature magazine Al-Wadhihi , cited the tolerant religion of Islam as calling for preservation of the earth’s environment and natural resources for the benefit of all mankind. Saudi Arabia, he said, has been giving the utmost significance to environmental issues, pointing out that its Constitution stresses the necessity of preserving non-renewable natural resources, and referring to their inclusion in the ongoing five-year development plans. Crown Prince Abdullah also referred to the cooperation between the National Guard and the National Commission for Wildlife Conservation and Development (NCWCD) through the program entitled ‘Together for the Homeland’.
