King Fahd sends cable while Crown Prince attends funeral of Shaikh Zayed

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz has sent a cable of condolences to Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahayan, Heir Apparent of Abu-Dhabi and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, expressing his deep sorrow at the death of UAE President Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahayan, extending condolences to Shaikh Khalifa, his family, and the UAE people, and praying to God Almighty to bless the soul of the deceased and receive him in paradise. Similar cables were sent by Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and by Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz. 

Meanwhile, Crown Prince Abdullah returned today to Makkah after attending the funeral of Shaikh Zayed in Abu Dhabi. The Crown Prince was accompanied by Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs Prince Me’teb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Province Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Province Prince Abdulmajeed bin Abdulaziz, and Governor of Madinah Province Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz.
