The Ministry of Interior has reported that during a raid in Jeddah today, one wanted suspect was killed and three others of the deviant group captured. Security forces had arrested one of the four suspects and then cornered the other three in a house in the Al-Jammah district when the firefight broke out, resulting in the death of one and injuries to another. Two security officers were slightly injured in the exchange of fire. Machineguns and ammunition were found at the site.

The four suspects have not yet been identified, but the Interior Ministry has revealed that three are Saudi nationals and one is an expatriate. The Ministry has also revealed that among the items found were disguises, currency and documents, as well as Kalashnikovs, revolvers, hand-made grenades, and incendiary bombs.
