Second Arab Thought Foundation conference to be held in Beirut

Governor of Asir Province Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, in his capacity as Chairman of the Foundation for Arab Thought, has announced that the Foundation’s second conference will be held in Beirut from December 4 to 6, 2003. He pointed out that the Foundation is neither governmental nor sectarian nor factional, but for all Arab citizens and scholars. The Beirut conference will focus on political, economic, social and cultural problems in the Arab world, and discuss the future of Arab relations with Americans, Europeans, Africans and Asians. Expected to attend are Algerian President Abdulaziz Boutalflika and Lebanese Premier Rafiq Hariri, as well as around 1,000 scholars and businessmen.
