King Fahd to host Afghani pilgrims; Kaabah washed for 1423 Hajj

It has been announced that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz will host at his own expense 100 pilgrims from Afghanistan for the upcoming Hajj, under the supervision of the Saudi committee for humanitarian aid for the Afghani people. Meanwhile, Governor of Makkah Province Prince Abdelmajeed bin Abdulaziz washed the Holy Kaabah on Saturday in preparation for the 1423 Hajj pilgrimage. 

In other news, President of the Saudi Red Crescent Society Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Suwailem has confirmed that his organization will set up 116 first aid centers at the various holy sites, deploying over 1,800 volunteers and 300 ambulances. In addition, there will be 1,600 boy scouts, housed at two camps in Mina, one in Makkah and one at Arafat.
