One of the wanted terrorists listed Saturday pursued and killed

The Interior Ministry has announced that Ibrahim Mohammad Abdullah Alrayis, whose name was published Saturday in a list of 26 wanted terrorist suspects, was killed by security forces early this morning. Following information provided by a citizen, the fugitive was pursued. Cornered near a gas station in the southwest of the city of Riyadh, he started shooting, and was subsequently killed in the firefight. None of the security officers were harmed. Forged documents were found on the body, in addition to a hand grenade. A search of his residence revealed three more hand grenades, a machine gun, three pistols and a quantity of ammunition. The Ministry statement praised citizens’ cooperation with the security forces pursuing those wanted, and those who are trying to undermine the country’s security and safety.
