Kingdom sends ambulances and medicine to Palestine

It was announced yesterday that 41 new ambulances and a large quantity of medicine are being dispatched to Palestine in order to meet the growing needs of hospitals and first aid centers there. Palestinian Health Minister Dr. Ahmad Al-Shaibi acknowledged the donation during a reception in Riyadh by the Saudi Committee for the Support of Al-Quds Intifada, whose chairman, Dr. Saeed Al-Arabi Al-Harithy explained that the new ambulances were part of a total of 137 donated, and that high priority is given to the medical assistance program for Palestinians, for which the sum of SR 122.5 million [U.S. $32.7 million] has been allocated. The committee has already spent over SR 660 million [$176.23 million] in humanitarian aid to Palestine.
