Prince Nayef urges private sector support for Saudization

Interior Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, in his capacity as Chairman of the Manpower Council, attended the Second Career Day organized yesterday by Umm-Al-Qur'a University in Makkah. In his address, Prince Nayef affirmed the Kingdom's concern to provide for every citizen not only education, but a good standard of living, and job opportunities. Great efforts, he said, are being made in the process of Saudization, and stressed that these efforts will not be effective unless they are supported by the private sector. He went on to say that the future of the Saudi stock market is encouraging due to the numerous investment opportunities in a number of areas. Answering a student's question on the consequences of events in Iraq and their impact on the region, Prince Nayef expressed the hope that these would be minimal, and gave assurances that the Kingdom would make every effort to alleviate the sufferings of the Iraqi people.
