Praise for Saudi commitment to GCC Summit resolutions

At a press conference in Riyadh today, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah has praised the commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the resolutions of the GCC Summit, citing the establishment of the GCC commercial arbitration center, amendment of customs tariffs, and tariff exemptions for imports that are related to the development of industry such as machinery, equipment, spare parts, raw and semi-manufactured materials, and packing and binding materials. The GCC's economic resolutions, he said, will have a great impact in strengthening the economics of its member states and enhancing their ability to deal with other international economic groups and blocs.
