Foreign Minister meets with U.S. President in Washington DC

Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal met in Washington DC last night with U.S. President George W. Bush, and described the talks as positive and productive. In a press release, Prince Saud reiterated the Kingdom's absolute adherence to combating terrorism and bringing to justice those involved in such criminal acts. He expressed appreciation of President Bush's concern for a quick end to the sufferings of the Afghan people, and for his administration's commitment to the peace process in the Middle East. Prince Saud met earlier with Vice President Dick Cheney, and on Thursday with Secretary of State Colin Powell.
