Minister of Labor speaks of Arab conference

Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Dr. Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Namlah is in Amman, Jordan, at the head of the Kingdom's delegation to the Labor Conference of the League of Arab States. In his speech, Dr. Al-Namlah referred to the cabinet's decision yesterday to establish a new mechanism to improve the labor environment and productivity for Saudis as a starting point for a system of direct relations with the Arab Labor Organization, and quoted its Director-General as saying that social protection is one of the noblest manifestations of human cooperation, reflecting the great effect of the Islamic religion on fostering human rights.
