Turning to domestic issues, the cabinet adopted a number of resolutions, including: approval of the registration regulations for individuals applying for services involving search and rescue by satellite; endorsement of the Kingdom's accession to the 1996 protocol pertaining to prevention of marine pollution through waste and other materials, for implementation of which the Meteorology and Environmental Protection Agency (MEPA) is responsible; and approval for continuation of the costing system for port services, without prejudice to the second paragraph of the second article of the system issued by Royal Decree M/42 on 2/7/1405.
