Palestinian President on brief visit to Riyadh

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz received in Riyadh today Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, who arrived earlier for a short visit to the Kingdom. President Arafat briefed King Fahd on the current situation in the Palestinian territories and the ongoing killings perpetrated by the Israeli forces. The King reiterated the Kingdom's firm stance beside the Palestinian people and their just cause until their full legitimate rights are restored and their independent state established with Al-Quds [Jerusalem] as its capital; and denounced the assassinations committed by Israel's occupation forces, assassinations that underscore Israel's unwillingness to establish peace.
