Arab-Asian conference opens in Amman

Saudi Arabia is participating in the first international conference on Arab-Asian relations. The four-day conference, which began today in Amman, Jordan, will discuss means of enhancing the relationship between Arab and Asian countries in the light of the political and economic blocs that exist around the world. Also taking part are Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Oman, Yemen, the Palestinian Authority, Libya, Algeria, Jordan, Iran, Japan, Korea and Russia.
