Saudi leadership desirous of facilitating investment

Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received yesterday evening in Riyadh Minister of Commerce Osama Faqih, Secretary-General of the Higher Economic Council (HEC) Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Tuwaijri, and a number of officials concerned with economic affairs. Crown Prince Abdullah briefed them on his recent talks with U.S. President George W. Bush, and urged them to represent fairly the Kingdom's position. He reiterated that no harm will come to Saudi Arabia as long as it holds firmly to its Islamic faith. Those present then held discussions, thanking the Crown Prince for the opportunity of consultation and dialogue with the Kingdom's leadership.

Meanwhile, the Crown Prince received on Saturday Minister of Finance and National Economy Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf and Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) Hamad Al-Sayyari, who presented him with the 37th annual SAMA report.
