Explosion in Riyadh kills Briton, injures wife

The Chief of Police of Riyadh Province has announced that in Riyadh at 1:23 p.m. local time on Friday afternoon, November 17, an explosion in a vehicle killed a Briton who was driving the vehicle and injured his wife who was with him. Police suspect that the explosion was caused by a bomb. The Briton, an employee of a company in Riyadh, died after being rushed to hospital. His wife suffered minor injuries and was discharged after receiving treatment. The authorities concerned are investigating the incident and the results of the investigation or any new developments will be announced in due time.
