The United Nations Security Council has welcomed the border agreement between Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Yemen. The Council issued a press statement yesterday saying that the agreement, signed in Jeddah on June 12, 2000, is in the best interests of both countries, and would enhance the relations of friendship and cooperation between them.
