The cabinet expressed satisfaction at the recently-concluded border agreement on the shallow seas adjacent to the former neutral zone between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and confirmed that it is in accordance with the distinguished relations between the two countries under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz and Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
After being briefed on the outcome of the 27th conference of the foreign ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) which was held recently in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, the cabinet drew attention to the challenges facing Islamic nations and the need to unify ranks, heal differences, and work as one for the interests of Muslim peoples.
Turning to domestic matters, the cabinet passed a number of resolutions, including authorization for the Minister of Defense and Aviation or his deputy to sign the draft of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the area of the environment with the Kingdom of Denmark, and ratification of the guidelines for import licenses into Saudi Arabia.
