National companies to maintain Kingdom's airports

Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz has signed contracts with five national companies for the operation and maintenance over the next three years, of the Kingdom's 22 domestic airports, the airfield at the King Khalid Military City in Hafr Al-Batin, plus Al-Thomamah, and the complex of the Civil Aviation Presidency in Jeddah. The airports are located at Taif, Al-Baha, Yanbu and Rabigh; at Madinah, Tabuk, Hail, and Wajh; at Arar, Al-Jouf, Qurayyat, Rafha and Turayf; at Qasim, Hofuf, Al-Qaisoomah, and Wadi Al-Duwaser; and at Abha, Jizan, Najran, Bisha, and Sharoura. The contracts cover all technical and specialized works for the operation, maintenance and supply of the airports with all necessary machines, equipment and spare parts.
