In Riyadh yesterday Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and

Inspector-General Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz dismissed the significance of the recent threats made by

Iraq concerning the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He reiterated that the situation in Iraq is the responsibility

of its rulers. Asked about a possible extraordinary meeting of GCC Defense Ministers to review the Iraqi

threats, he said this would not be necessary.
