Saudi satellites in orbit from Russian rocket

A Russian military rocket, adapted for civil use, was successfully launched today from the Baykonur

Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan putting into orbit five satellites, two of them for Saudi Arabia. The Saudi

satellites, to be affiliated to the Saudi institute for space studies, are orbiting at 650 kilometers. The

mission, originally planned for August, was postponed due to technical problems.
