Education Minister Muhammad Ibn Ahmed Al-Rasheed yesterday opened the 16th computer exhibition and the 12th exhibition of office technology, which are being held together in Riyadh until February 18 under the supervision of the Ministry of Education. Associated with them will be a number of symposia.

Meanwhile, it was announced today that the Ministry of Information is to appoint supervisors to check copyright violations at computer exhibitions, and distribute pamphlets among visitors highlighting the importance of using original computer programs. Information Minister Dr. Fuad Al-Farsi is concerned about enforcing copyright laws in order to improve the standard of the Kingdom's computer products.
