Commercial Flights To Resume Between Kingdom and Iran

After two days of official talks, the civil aviation authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Iran today signed a joint memorandum of understanding to facilitate air operations between the two countries. Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) will resume regular flights to four Iranian cities, Tehran, Shiraz, Mashad and Isfahan. IranAir will operate four flights for passengers and one for cargo each week, to Riyadh, Jeddah and Dhahran; these flights will continue on to Cairo, Nairobi and Johannesburg.
