King Fahd Hosts Pilgrims From East Europe (Hajj 1419)

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz has issued an order to host 1,000 pilgrims from Eastern Europe to enable them to perform Hajj rituals this year, at his personal expense. This was announced today by Secretary-General of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) Dr. Mana Ibn Hamad Al-Johani, who said WAMY is honored by King Fahd's order to arrange facilities for hosting these Eastern European pilgrims and supervise all their affairs.

Meanwhile, it was reported on Saturday that under the auspices of the Zamzam Water Charity of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, 120,000 containers of Zamzam water had arrived in Madinah for distribution to pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque. This consignment, carried by three refrigerated trucks, is part of a total of forty such trucks with a total capacity of four million containers. A number of pilgrims already in Madinah for the pilgrimage, have expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, noting that the provision of Zamzam water at the Prophet's mosque reflects its care and attention to providing all facilities to ease the performance of their Hajj rituals.
