Hajj Committee Meets To Finalize Arrangements (Hajj 1419)

Deputy Governor of Makkah Province Prince Saud Ibn Abdulmohsin Ibn Abdul Aziz today chaired the 84th session of the Central Committee for Hajj , which reviewed issues related to the supervision of restaurants at the holy sites, and the provision of large quantities of bread at a suitable price and weight, as well as all kinds of foodstuffs and consumer goods, including those requiring refrigerated trucks. A total of 45,000 people will be employed to provide services during this year's pilgrimage.

To date, a total of 652,331 pilgrims have arrived for Hajj , most of them by air, on 2,368 flights arriving at King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah.
