Minister of Justice Dr. Abdullah Ibn Muhammad Al-Asheikh met today in London with the British Home Secretary, and explained to him how Shariah [Islamic Law] is applied in the Kingdom in all aspects of everyday life, referring to the security and prosperity Saudi Arabia enjoys under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz.

Dr. Al-Asheikh is attending a conference convened by the British Council on relations between the United Kingdom and Islam. The location of the conference, he said, arises from the large number of Muslims residing in the U.K., adding that matters concerning Islam were often raised in the media and in research centers. Indicating the importance of discussing Islamic issues correctly, he remarked that sometimes wrong views prevail.
