King Fahd and Crown Prince Abdullah receive Prince Philip

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz yesterday received at his office in Jeddah the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip of Great Britain, who is on a short visit to the Kingdom. Prince Philip conveyed to King Fahd greetings from his wife Queen Elizabeth and her congratulations on the centennial of the event that led to the founding of the modern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The reception was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of State and Cabinet Member, and British Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Andrew Green.

Later, Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard, hosted a dinner party in honor of Prince Philip.
