King Fahd undergoes medical checkup

The Royal Court has announced that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz was admitted today to the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh for a medical checkup.
King Fahd left King Khalid Eye Specialist Hospital yesterday evening after successfully undergoing a minor eye operation to remove a blood clot from his left eye. King Fahd expressed his thanks and appreciation to the medical team who treated him.  He also expressed his thanks to world leaders who had inquired about him during his hospital stay, and to the Saudi citizens who had expressed their sincere feelings and affection. King Fahd will spend some time recuperating.
