Crown Prince Abdullah holds talks with Syrian President

Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard met again today with Syrian President Hafiz Al-Asad, who came to visit him and continue their discussions.  The Crown Prince and the Syrian President held a meeting yesterday attended by the official accompanying delegation, the two Syrian Vice Presidents, the Syrian Prime Minister and the Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs.  During this meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations. They also reviewed the issue of the Middle East and the occupied Arab lands, and current issues in the Islamic and international arenas especially Kosovo and the situation in the Balkans.

Crown Prince Abdullah also met yesterday with former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Al-Hariri at a reception was attended by Prince Nawaf Bin Abdul Aziz, and by Lieutenant-General Prince Meteb Bin Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Commander of the national Guard and Commander of King Khalid Military College.
