The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz has approved adding two new

institutes of higher education, a Community College in Hafr Al-Batin, to be a branch of the

King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals; and a Technical College in Najran, to be a

part of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of King Faisal University.
