Saudi-U.S. Business Council holds conference in DC

The Saudi-U.S. Business Council held a conference in Washington DC which ended yesterday.  The conference was designed to promote dialogue between Saudi businessmen and American officials of 25 Saui-U.S. companies on available commercial opportunities at local, regional, Islamic and international levels.  Discussions also covered economic globalization, Internet usage, the impact on the Saudi market of the Kingdom's admission to the World Trade Organization (WTO), the development of technology, and tackling problems related to the petroleum sector, petrochemical industries, and telecommunications.
