Kingdom's latest measures to help Kosovo

The Saudi Joint Committee for the Relief of Kosovo will soon start on a project to repair and maintain 30 schools in Kosovo at a cost of U.S. $600,000.  This project will benefit about 6,000 students for the upcoming academic year. About a quarter of Kosovo's 519 schools have been destroyed or pillaged. Meanwhile, the Committee has organized a ten-day training course for imams and muftis in Kosovo, aimed at giving them advanced lessons in Arabic language and Islamic Shariah. About 50 Kosovars are taking part. In addition, the Committee has opened a bakery in Siraezi, creating 52 jobs for Kosovars.
